Adding extra insulation to the roof, walls, floor... and reducing air leakage of a building have 3 main advantages:

- higher comfort for the people who live/work in it
- less carbon exhaust and environmental dammage
On 14th of December, POM WF and Business Agency organize a informative session for businesses about insulation, airtightness and the possibilities and applications of the method of thermography and blower door.
Theoretic principles are combined with practical tips and tricks about:
- how to insulate in an effective way?
- what are the legal standards of today and tomorrow?
- how much does it cost and what is the payback time?
- inspiring showcases
- a mini fair for professional service companies and providers
- live demonstrations
- of different types of insulation (photograph left),
- infrared cameras (photograph middle)
- and a blower door test (photograph right). Such a blower door is a diagnostic tool designed to measure the airtightness of buildings and to help locate air leakage sites.
We will welcome about 80 attendents at the new site of AVC in Kortrijk, South of West-Flanders.
