In cooperation with the Power-Link project, Research institution VITO, Research centre for agriculture POVLT and Seaport of Ostend, POM West-Flanders organized the 'Clean tech summer' event at 1st July 2010. This second edition was a success with over 300 visitors from local business, energy service/product businesses, researchers, students and politicians! We were delighted to welcome the Flemish Minister of Energy, Mrs. Freya Vanden Bossche!
The visitors showed a lot of interest for the energy technology fair and the demonstrated pilots as well as for the inspiring seminars. Various energy techniques were demonstrated: from a mobile electrical loadpoint, over a mini CHP, to NH2-driven agricultural tractor. Local businesses inspired and convinced us why to invest in sustainable buildings, biomass techniques or heat recovery.
