In March 2009 the 8 partners from across 4 countries that are involved in ANSWER's work with businesses met up in Bremen to discuss arrangements for establishing efficiency networks for SMEs.
This work is a core part of the package of support that ANSWER will offer to SMEs, with businesses being brought together to share their experiences of obstacles and successes. The networks will also be invited to benefit from the other activities within the project, ranging form on-site visits to awards for green achievements.
With those involved in the project holding a wealth of experience, one of its core benefits is the opportunity to match strengths to weaknesses across the partnership. By using our collective experience to guide the activities, we can ensure they are delivered in a way that will maximise their benefits.
The meeting was hosted by our partners in Bremen, and we took the opportunity to see some of the activities they have already initiated to develop a sustainable city, including a hotel and a car club, which both demonstrated the potential to be economically and environmentally sustainable!
