How can the ANSWER project encourage inhabitants to reduce their climate impact?
As a part of reducing carbon emissions in the geographical area of Växjö, a gropu of Climate Idols has been chosen as a way to attract attention. The Climate Idols are local celebrities from the local newspaper, music and theatre, restaurants and organizations. They will get five challenges during the spring 2010 covering transport, energy, food and consumption and will be coached by experts and provided with climate smart products and services by local businesses. If they succeed to reach the goal of each challenge, they receive a “green card” from the mayor!
