A new challenge for the summer bloggers in Växjö! How can you make a climate smart meal? The bloggers got some basic advice, based on the Climate Idols' challenges, and then went shopping for locally produced, ecological food.
It took an hour to make all the right choices - what is best - tomatoes from Sweden or ecologically labeled tomatoes imported from another country? If we can´t find Swedish peas - could we use radishes instead? Finally they decided on what to buy and went to the library where they were able to use kitchen facilities. The result was a successful and inspiring challenge for two 19 year-olds setting out on their adult lives and starting their own households shortly - and of course for all the blog readers.
