SMEs represent over half of energy use, yet they also face very specific obstacles in reducing their energy use. This report draws on work undertaken by ANSWER to support this progress - identifying key obstacles and their solutions.
The report has been compiled by Groundwork East of England based on work they delivered for Suffolk County Council and the Environment Agency within ANSWER.
This work covered a wide range from footprinting to energy audits to accreditation through the Suffolk Carbon Charter. The report draws on all of these elements to produce practical recommendations.
