A simple and fun way to raise awareness and interest in each person’s climate impact is to organise a swap! Instead of throwing things away and buying new stuff, we can reuse and exchange all the clothes and items we no longer use. The climate group in Växjö, started as a part of the ANSWER project, organised a free swap last Saturday open for everyone and had about 100 visitors. The event was covered in the local newspaper!
As the Växjö swap was very positive and successful, ANSWER organised another one for all colleagues in the municipality building. In the morning we received books, clothes and other items and in the afternoon the doors were open and all employees were free to take a look. Some people didn't really believe that everything was for free, but most visitors requested a new swap as soon as possible. And there will be another one in August!
